The Steadi-Film PIN + Gate is a unique product
which combines the features of the award winning
Steadi-Film pin-registered system
with the Meta-Speed/RTS Plus system.

• Supports serial control of AMPEX & Sony VTR's (both RS-422)
• Supports serial control of Abekas A60/A62/A64/66 (RS -422)
• Supports serial control of Accom RTD 4224 and Sierra Quick Frame (RS-422)
• GPI control of Ampex, Sony, Abekas, Accom, Sierra and Quantel
• GPI interface to GPI equipped noise reducers (Accom DIE 125, Philips/BTS MNR 11)
• Supports "search to cue point" on serial controlled recorders
• Supports data entry in feet or feet-and-frames
• Wide variety of Skip and Repeat sequences to simulate various speeds in playback
• Non-volatile storage of set-up parameters including edit VTR off-set

  Not only do you get the real-time registration of META/RTS, but also the Film Management features (ie: Reverse Printing, Skip Printing, etc.) and absolute rock steady film registration found invaluable in the original Steadi-Film II system.

  The Steadi-Film PIN + Gate can change operation from Real-Time to Pin-Registered mode at the touch of a button. This means that the same gate can stay on the telecine for the entire session. This will also eliminate any Lens difference between a real-time gate and a pin-registered gate. This Gate includes a New 52 mm Optics...providing higher resolution.

  Works only in conjunction with Meta Speed.
